Discover Diamond Oil

May 28, 2013

Why is Redken’s Diamond Oil line different than other hair oils?

Because it’s the first oil care collection that provides shatterproof strength and multi-faceted shine to hair. The secret to this shine formula is the combination of coriander, camelina, and apricot oils with Redken’s Interlock Protein Network.

Diamond Oil Shampoo and Conditioner replenish and protect hair and help it feel stronger and healthier.

Diamond Oil Deep Facets is an oil enrichment treatment for dull or damaged hair. Just leave it on towel dried hair for 5 to 15 minutes for a healthy shine.

The Diamond Oil line provides two different types of oils for different types of hair.

Shatterproof Shine for Medium Hair and Shatterproof Shine Intense for Course Hair

These oils provide a number of benefits
• Makes Hair 3X Stronger and 2X Shinier
• Increases Moisture
• Detangles
• Reduces Frizz and Breakage
• Enhances Hair Color

For a limited time at Keith’s Haircenter buy either the Shatterproof Shine or the Shatterproof Shine Intense and get a Diamond Oil Starter Kit Free! This Redken gift includes Diamond Oil Shampoo and Conditioner along with the Diamond Oil Deep Facets.

Straightening your hair may have become a part of your normal routine but it’s important to get back to the basics to ensure the best for your blogstraimane.  Here are some tips for keeping your locks strong and healthy!

1. Find the Right Size Iron: The size of the iron you should be using depends on the length and thickness of your hair.  Short, fine hair should use narrower plates and long, thick hair should use wider plates.

2. Find the Right Temperature:  We are all tempted to use high heat to speed up the process but this can damage your hair.  Choose an iron with settings you can change.  The finer your hair is the lower the heat should be.

3. Protect Your Locks: It’s important to protect your hair from the heat we use for styling.  Redken’s heat styling line can help save your hair from the damage caused by excessive heat.  Check out our post about protecting your hair for more information.

4. Take Sections: For the best results start at the bottom and work your way to the top.  The thicker your hair is the more sections you should be taking.  Move at a steady pace to distribute the heat evenly.

5. Clean Your Iron: Once your iron is cool wipe it down with a warm cloth.  This will remove any built up product and ensure an even finish every time.229950_10151161703421622_1849702029_n

2012 at Keith’s Haircenter

December 27, 2012

This last year has been good to us here at Keith’s Haircenter.  We’ve welcomed new team members including stylists Alyssa and Amber in Green Bay along with Hannah in Neenah.  We’ve also been privileged to welcome Amanda as salon coordinator in Neenah.

This past spring also ma2012 blog2rked the finish of the remodeling project in Green Bay which also included the grand opening of Voga Wigs and Hair Add-on’s.  Lisa has done wonders in Voga helping women suffering from hair loss and we are so happy that she is also a part of our team.  Haven’t checkout the new look in Green Bay yet?  Click here to take the virtual tour.

This year we also continued our attempt to help those suffering from hair loss because of medical conditions.  In July Mary graciously donated 24″ of hair during her first haircut ever to the non-profit organization, Wigs for Kids.  Click here to see the video. In October Extending Hair Extending Hope also rose over $6,000 in its third year with donations for pink extensions.

Keith has also contKeith teaching a Hair Replacement Classinued to educate on an international scale and was awarded for his efforts this year.  Keith received the Excellence in Education award from New Image Labs in October.  This past year Keith not only continued to educate his stylist’s but also traveled to Miami, Indianapolis, West Palm Beach, and the Dominican Republic to teach others about the art of hair replacement.

There’s no doubt that this past year has been a good one but we have even more planned for this upcoming year.  Can’t wait to see what 2013 brings!

Winter Haircolor Trends

December 1, 2012

As the seasons change so do haircolor trends.  Keeping hair tones naturally gorgeous is always in style but pops of color are a great way to shake up your look.  Here are some ideas for your haircolor this winter.

Blondes:  Shaping the face is always a good thing.  Try adding a pop of color with peek a boo highlights.  You can choose a bold color such as purple or try something more natural like a light brown.  Adding dimension gives your haircolor a special radiance and adds excitement.
Ombre Hair

Brunettes:  You can also shape your face with this winter’s trend.  Try something new with an Ombre style.  Ombre can add natural looking dimension to your haircolor by just highlighting the ends of your hair.

Rcom_stylegal_RubilaneReds:  This season’s trend is moving away from the bright reds and to a lighter tone.  These hues give your color a more natural look and fit better with your skin tone.

Keith and Stylists doing Pink Extensions at the Bellin Cancer Center

Extending Hair Extending Hope has wrapped up its third year raising money through Pink Extensions.  This last month Keith’s Haircenter and Voga Wigs teamed up with the Bellin Cancer Center to raise funds for those suffering from cancer in Northeastern Wisconsin.  Together we raised $6,310!  We want to thank everyone for their donations to this great cause.
