The 3 Key’s to Healthy Hair
June 25, 2010
Everyone wants strong, beautiful, healthy hair. There are 3 key components to healthy hair.
1. Getting your hair cut.
Sometimes with busy schedules this can be difficult but professionals recommend getting your hair trimmed every 6-8 weeks. This is especially important for women trying to grow their hair longer. Getting rid of the split ends make the hair look healthier. After your haircut pre-book your next appointment when you’re at the salon; that way you won’t be tempted to put it off.
2. Conditioning Treatments.
Your hair becomes weak with normal day to day routines. A lot of different things can distress your hair, such as haircolor, perms, blow drying and straightening. Redken offers an exclusive, professional in-salon service, Redken Chemistry. This treatment is customized to whatever it is your hair needs, whether it’s moisture, color protection, st
rength, softness, control, or a combination of these benefits.
3. PH Balanced Shampoo.
Professional products are better for you hair. Not only can you find a line to fit your hair needs (such as Redken’s Color Extend, Blonde Glam or Fresh Curls) but also because the PH balance of professional products is closer to your hair’s PH balance. Because the PH balance is closer the prodcuts are gentler on your hair and won’t cause added distress.

Back From Portugal
June 11, 2010
I just got back from Lisbon Portugal. It was a great to see all the sites and history. I arrived a few days early to do a presentation for our hair replacement supplier New Image. It was a chance to teach hair stylists from all over Europe our way of delivering hair replacement. They were very eager to learn and really appreciated everything I did. The great thing was that I learned just as much from them. We will be implementing some of these things into our business here. You never stop learning!
